dc.description.abstractThe Leak in of glass melt into the glass moulds yet not been determined in "the real conditions of mass production". The mold filling was evaluated through glass melt viscosity measurements. Viscosity is physical quantity, but it does't include additional significant effects, like surface roughness, lubrication, tension inside the mould a.o. On the ground of this we decided to propose methodology of leak in measurement test not only in term of physical, but also of real condition in general practice, i.e. technological test. In the glass production is generated ineligible descreasing of quality of glass products because of interaction metal versus glass melt. The quality of glass equipment surface has a substantial effect on surface quality of glass product. The metal surface degrades because of a long-term cyclic contact with a hot glass melt. The character of degrading process affects the lifetime of materials applied in glass production. Because of these factors, we realized proposed technological test on presented glass equipment with various surface qualities and for different temperatures.
