dc.description.abstract | While modelling the process of plasticization of layer of wood the factor of principal importance is the critical effort of material when its plastic flow occurs. The value of this stress depends on the thermomechanical properties of the material and in particular on temperature. The problem of plasticization of a thin layer of wood during hot rolling is used in used in manufacture of furniture elements. In such a way the surface layer of wood, undergoes the refinement process (i.e. surface smoothing and compacting of wood internal structure). The article presents a solution of the issue of heat conductivity in the plasticized layer of material having porous and directional properties. The identified temperature distributions are compared in order to use them effectively in a model of a thin layer of wood plasticization. | |
