Cezhraničná spolupráca v Karpatskom euroregióne

Abstract

Cieľom tejto diplomovej práce je priblížiť cezhraničnú spoluprácu medzi regiónmi EÚ a predstaviť postavenie Karpatského euroregiónu a zapojenie tohto euroregiónu do programov cezhraničnej spolupráce. Hlavným zameraním práce je analyzovať programy cezhraničnej spolupráce, ktoré sa v rámci Karpatského euroregiónu realizujú.

Diplomová práca je rozdelená do piatich kapitol. Druhá kapitola sa zameriava na charakteristiku cezhraničnej spolupráce v Európe. Tretia kapitola približuje samotný Karpatský euroregión, jeho poslanie a ciele. Štvrtá kapitola sa zaoberá zapojením Karpatského euroregiónu do programov cezhraničnej spolupráce v rokoch 1994 – 2013. Zameriava sa na priebeh realizácie programov, pomocou ktorých sa v Euroregióne realizujú projekty zamerané na podporu ekonomickej a sociálnej spolupráce, zvyšovanie konkurencieschopnosti a ochrany životného prostredia.

The aim of this Diploma Thesis is to focus on the cross-border cooperation between regions in EU and to introduce the position of the Carpathian Euroregion and the involvement of this euroregion to the programs of the cross-border cooperation. The following main task of the thesis is to analyze cross-border cooperation programmes, which are realized in the Carpathian Euroregion.

The Diploma Thesis is divided into the five chapters. The second chapter focuses on characteristic of cross-border cooperation in Europe. The third chapter introduces Carpathian Euroregion itself, its function and objectives. The fourth chapter deals with the involvement of the Carpathian Euroregion to the programmes of cross-border cooperation in the period 1994 – 2013. It aims to conduct the implemetation of operational programmes presented means for realization the projects focus on support of economic and social cooperation, increasing of competitive advantage and environment protection.
