Využití strukturálních fondů EU v rozvoji města Vsetín

Abstract

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak projekty financované z prostředků strukturálních fondů EU přispěly k naplnění strategických cílů rozvoje města Vsetín v programovém období 2004 - 2006. Dále pak blíže popsat projekty, které měly na změnu celkové situace ve Vsetíně největší vliv, včetně konkrétních přínosů. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. Obsahem první kapitoly je popis strukturální politiky a cílů, které se k tomuto období vztahují včetně možnosti financování rozvoje měst z operačních programů. Druhá kapitola se zabývá strategickým plánem rozvoje města, socioekonomickou situací Vsetína, problémy vyskytujícími se v regionu a popisem prioritních oblastí rozvoje města. Třetí kapitola shrnuje projekty strukturálních fondů EU, spolu s přínosy, které pro jednotlivé strategické oblasti rozvoje města znamenaly .

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine, how projects financed from the EU structural funds helped to fulfil the strategic goals of development of the city of Vsetín in the period between 2004-2006. Another goal of this thesis is to closer describe the projects, which had the biggest influence on the change of the overall situation in the city, including their concrete benefits. This bachelor thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the structural policy and its goals during the above-mentioned period, including the possibilies of financing the city development using the operational programmes. The second chapter then deals with the strategic plan of development of the city, the city‘s socioeconomic situation, problems found in its surrounding region and also with the priority areas in development of the city. The third chapter finally summarizes the projects of the EU structural funds along with the benefits, which they brought to the city.
