Mezinárodní migrace v EU a USA

Abstract

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na mezinárodní migraci v EU a USA. Cílem diplomové práce je na základě analýzy dat objasnit problematiku mezinárodní migrace v Evropské unii a Spojených státech amerických. Práce se skládá z 5 kapitol, přičemž první kapitola je úvod. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na teoretické vymezení a typy mezinárodní migrace. Jsou v ní také vymezeny důsledky, příčiny, specifické formy migrace, environmentální migrace a remitence. Třetí kapitola se věnuje vybraným aspektům mezinárodní migrace v Evropské unii. Největší část v této kapitole je věnována azylové a migrační politice EU, nástrojům a programům EU. Čtvrtá kapitola pak mapuje mezinárodní migraci ve Spojených státech amerických a v Evropské unii. Kapitola se také soustředí na vliv globální finanční a hospodářské krize na mezinárodní migraci, programy a politiky pracovní migrace v USA a vybraných členských zemí EU. Součástí čtvrté kapitoly je pak následné srovnání mezinárodní migrace v EU a USA. Pátou kapitolou je závěr.

The thesis is focused on international migration in the EU and the USA. The aim of this thesis is based on data analysis to clarify the issue of international migration in the European Union and the United States. Thesis consists of 5 chapters, the first chapter is an introduction. The second chapter focuses on the theoretical definition and types of international migration. There are also defined consequences, causes, and specific forms of migration, environmental migration and remittances. The third chapter describes selected aspects of international migration in the European Union. The largest part of this chapter is devoted to asylum and migration policy of the EU, the EU's initiatives and programmes. The fourth chapter describes international migration in the United States and the European Union. The chapter also focuses on the impact of global financial and economic crisis on international migration, policies and programmes of the labour migration in the USA and selected member countries of the EU. Part of the fourth chapter is the subsequent comparison of international migration in the EU and the USA. The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
