dc.description.abstract-en | Almost in no organization do we have information systems and applications without cooperation or communication
with other systems. Usually it is necessary to integrate information systems and applications in an organization
with systems of other institutions. Nowadays, integration of existing and new implemented information systems is
a key subject of interest for every organization. In this paper we will introduce basic concepts of integration styles
and architectures and we will point out differences, advantages and disadvantages of these approaches. Furthermore,
we will present a simple economic cost model for various integration architectures and approaches. | cs |
