Analýza managementu basketbalového klubu

Abstract

Ve své diplomové práci jsem se zaměřil na analýzu managementu basketbalového klubu BCM Ostrava. Vzhledem k tomu, že jsem za klub sám hrál, zvolil jsem pro zjišťování informací metodu pozorování a polostandardizovaný rozhovor s manažerem klubu. Má práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První je teoretická část, kde jsem popisoval management, důvody rostoucího zájmu o sport, možnosti získávání finančních prostředků pro sportovní klub, organizační struktury sportovních klubů a metody výzkumu a získávání dat. V druhé části jsem nejprve charakterizoval zkoumaný klub a poté jsem popisoval problematiku managementu při získávání finančních zdrojů a následně jsou popsány výdaje klubu. Ve třetí, poslední části, jsem analyzoval management klubu pomocí SWOT analýzy a navrhl zlepšení činností klubu.

In my thesis, I focused on the analysis of management of the basketball club of BCM Ostrava. Due to the fact that I played for the club myself, for obtaining of information I chose the method of observation and semi-structured interview with the manager of the club. My thesis is divided into three parts. The first is a theoretical part, where I desribed management, reasons for the growing interest in sports, options of acquisition of funding for the sportsclub, organizational structures of sport clubs and methods of research and data collection. In the second part, first I characterized the surveyed club and then I desribed issues of management in obtaining financial resources and subsequently, there are described club spendings. In the third, the last part, I analyzed the management of the club by the SWOT analysis and suggested possible improvements of the club’s activities.
