Vzťah korupcie a ekonomického rastu so zameraním na investície

Abstract

Korupce je často označovaná za fenomén současnosti a jeden z nejpalčivějších problémů naší doby. Je problémem ne jen kulturním, morálním, právním, sociálním, politickým ale do značné míry ovlivňuje také chod ekonomiky. Cílem mé práce je zjistit jestli se potvrdí negativní vliv korupce na ekonomický růst a úroveň investic, jako jednoho z nejdůležitějších faktorů růstu. Zkoumaným vzorkem jsou pro potřeby průřezové regresní analýzy členské země OECD. Práce je rozdělená do tří částí. V první jsou definovány základní pojmy potřebné pro pochopení problematiky. Druhá část je věnována teoriím růstu a zkoumání vztahu mezi korupcí, ekonomickým růstem a investicemi. Třetí část je tvořená regresní analýzou.

Corruption is often reffered to as a contemporary phenomenon and one of the most serious problem of our era. It is not only cultural, ethical, legal, social or political problem. It also, to considerable extent, influences the running of economy. The aim of my work is to find out if there exists a negative influence of corruption on the economic growth and the level of investment as one of the key factor of growth. For the needs of cross-sectional regression analysis the member states of OECD are examined as a sample. Work is divided into three parts. Basic concepts necessary for understanding of the issue are defined in the first part. Second part deals with the theories of growth and the investigation of relation between corruption, economic growth and the investment. Third part is concerned with the regression analysis.
