| dc.description.abstract | Comparison of existing mining methods on open coal mines in some countries over the world and in Europe evidence how different technology is in given areas. In Czech Republic (CR) so as in Germany and other countries of Europe the Bucket Wheel Excavators are used as the predominant technology. In Australia and USA the Draglines or Truck and Shovels are most common. In this paper the attempt is made to compare these technologies from the point of view of geological conditions and try to find out if it would be profitable accept oversea technology in CR and other Europe countries. | cs |
