Ekonomický růst eurozóny

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá ekonomickým růstem eurozóny v letech 1999–2011. Cílem práce je vyhodnocení ekonomického růstu eurozóny na základě rozboru empirických dat jednotlivých členských zemí eurozóny a na základě srovnání s ostatními významnými ekonomickými centry – USA, Japonskem, EU a se státy skupiny BRICS. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do třech stěžejních kapitol. První z nich vymezuje metody, které jsou v práci využity, uvádí zdroje dat použité pro analýzu v dalších kapitolách práce, vymezuje ekonomický růst, jeho měření a uvádí základní přehled ekonomických škol teorie růstu. Druhá stěžejní kapitola se věnuje historickému vývoji hospodářské a měnové unie v rámci evropské integrace a uvádí analýzu empirických dat za období 1999-2011. Tato analýza je zaměřena na ekonomickou sílu, ekonomickou úroveň a ekonomický růst v jednotlivých členských státech eurozóny. Třetí stěžejní kapitola provádí analýzu a komparaci ekonomické síly, ekonomické úrovně a ekonomického růstu eurozóny a jednotlivých významných světových ekonomických center.

This thesis deals with the economic growth of the euro area in 1999–2011. The goal of this thesis is the evaluation of the economic growth of the euro area by analyse the empirical data of the member states and by comparision with other important world´s economics – USA, Japan, the EU and the BRICS countries. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first part defines applied methods, it introduces data resources used for analysis in the following chapters, it defines the economic growth and its measurement, and it provides a basic overview of different theories of the economic growth. The second main chapter deals with historical development of the economic and monetary union in the European integration and it provides an analysis of empirical data in the period 1999–2011. This analysis is focused on economic power, economic level and economic growth in the member states of euro area. Finally, analyses and comparisions of economic power, economic level and economic growth in the euro area and in the other important world´s economics are summarized in the third chapter of this thesis.
