Návrh a implementace metodiky dle SCRUM v softwarové firmě

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá navržením a implementací metodiky dle Scrum v softwarové firmě. Impulsem vypracování této práce byl požadavek jedné softwarové firmy o vytvoření metodiky dle Scrum. Firma si tuto metodiku sama vybrala a pokusila se ji v minulosti aplikovat do vývojového procesu, ale neúspěšně. Obsahem práce je tedy nalezení chyb tohoto neúspěšného aplikování metodiky Scrum, najít problémy v aktuálním stavu procesu vývoje softwaru a provést celkovou analýzu firmy z hlediska výrobních postupů. Na základě těchto vstupních dat navrhnout a implementovat novou metodiku dle Scrum. Protože metodika Scrum je pouze procesní rámec a nepostihuje všechny činnosti ve vývojovém procesu, dalším zdrojem pro návrh metodiky jsou obecné agilní principy a nejlepší praktiky na základě zkušeností v jiné větší firmě. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V první části je čtenář uveden do problematiky procesu vývoje softwaru a metodik. V této části je také detailně popsána samotná metodika Scrum. Druhá část je věnována analýze procesu vývoje ve firmě, pro kterou je metodika navrhována. Druhá část práce zároveň obsahuje analýzu vývojových procesů v jiné firmě, ze které jsou čerpány inspirace pro řešení nalezených problémů v první firmě. Ve třetí části je řešení těchto problémů popsány, je navržená nová metodika a uveden postup její implementace do firmy.

This thesis deals with the designing and implementation of Scrum methodology to a software company. The impetus of this development of this thesis was request for a make methodology according Scrum in software company Poski.com. The company chose this methodology alone and tried to apply it in the past in the development process, but without success. The content of this thesis is to find errors that failed applying Scrum methodology, find the problems in the current state of the software development process and make the overall analysis of the company in terms of production processes. And on base on these input data to design and implement a new methodology according to Scrum. Because Scrum methodology is only a process framework and does not cover all the activities in the development process, another source for the design are general principles of agile methodologies and best practices based on experience in other larger company. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part the reader is introduced to the problems of software development process and methodologies. This section also is described in detail the methodology Scrum itself. The second part is dedicated to analysis of development process in the company, for which the methodology proposed. The second part also includes an analysis of developmental processes in other company of which are derived inspiration for solving problems encountered in the first company. The third part describes the solutions these problems, the proposed new methodology and explains how its implementation in the company.
