Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the preparation of photoactive composites based on g-C3N4 /montmorillonite. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the properties of melamine, g-C3N4, phyllosilicates (montmorillonite) and photocatalysis. In the practical part describes the individual methods of preparation of melamine/montmorillonite and melamine hydrochloride/montmorillonite composites, which were further calcined at different temperatures. The resulting samples were characterized by the available analytical methods (X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, diffuse reflection spectroscopy and photoluminescence) to confirm the presence of g-C3N4. Selected samples were analysed using photocurrent spectroscopy, which reduced the number of samples further tested for photocatalytic decomposition of nitrous oxide.
