Abstract

Human capital is the most significant capital of organizations. However, there is currently a lack of quality workforce in the Czech Republic, so companies are increasingly inclined to use the talent management system. The aim of this thesis is a proposal of talent management system in the Varroc Lighting Systems s.r.o. Company. To identify appropriate tools for identifying and acquiring talents, developing them and keeping them in the organization, a questionnaire survey and an interview with staff of the Human Resources Department are used. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts and the methodology used. The practical part describes the current state of the processes of acquisition, education and development, employee retention in the selected company and analysis of the questionnaire survey. At the end of the diploma thesis, some suggestions and recommendations regarding the proposal of talent management system in the selected company are presented.
