Abstract

The dissertation deals with the characteristics of used personal protective equipment (PPE) to eliminate the risk of occupational accidents and occupational diseases of employees North Bohemian coal mines PLC located in Doly Nástup Tušimice during mining operations to overburden operation. The aim of this work is to assess the current condition of life and health protection of workers using the latest scientific and technical knowledge to design and economically evaluate the most advanced possible types of personal protective equipment (safety helmets, footwear, glasses and gloves).
