Abstract
It was found out that integration of digital elevation model into interpolation procedure oves better estimates of area precipitation events. In introduction there is introduces the influence of spatial pattern of precipitation. Next chapter contains description of main goal and tasks of this dissertation work. Analysis of current state is presented in third chapter. Terms precipitation and relationship between topografy and the spatial distribution of precipitation are explained in chapter 4. The whole fifth chapter contains geostatistical theory. In chapter 6 there are described all interpolation methods used in this work and it contains also methods which were created in Czech Hydrometeorological Institute. Pilot areas and their specification are described in chapter 7. Eighth chapter describe data used in this work. Exploratory analysis which includes normality tests, histograms, quantile-quantile plots is explained in chapter 9 and another part of this chapter is applied to data transformation. Correlation analysis and regression analysis between precipitation and elevation is introduced in chapter 10. In next chapter all interpolation methods and their settings are described. The final comparison of all interpolation methods creates the last chapter. The conclusion chapter contains all main results and key contributions of this work.
