Abstract

The Dissertation is concerned with safety measures of the machinery. The work is divided into two parts: the first part is concerned with a brief description of international norms, European safety regulations, risk assessment, and the selection of the operating systems categories. Further, the work contains description of the requirements for the emergency shutdown settings, monitoring and blocking of the doors, two-hand manipulating and control systems, and the contactless safety systems. The second part of the Dissertation contains a practical safety proposal for ensuring of the safety measures of the manipulator unit working environment with the aid of the contactless safety system. The supplement contains drawing documentation of the electric wiring set up.
