Abstract

The objective of this thesis is the design and realization of the resonant coupling converter, which allows parallel connecting of electrochemical energy sources. The theoretical part contains an analysis of the conditions for voltage sources connecting, then the description of the principle of soft switching, the principle of resonance and usage of resonant coupling in converters. Main part of this thesis is focused on the selection of suitable components, dimensioning of circuit elements, calculation of the power dissipation, etc. On these foundations a 3D model of the converter was created, and then according to this model was created a physical laboratory model of the converter. The last part of the thesis is focused on a comparison between the measured values on physical model of converter and theoretical expectations with simulations created in OrCAD PSpice simulation software. Based on previous results a final assessment has been made.
