Abstract

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the development of fire pumps are in use or have been in use on the territory of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into five parts. The first section deals with the history of fire departments and the subsequent gradual development of fire technology in the world and in the Czech republic. The second part offers a brief description of portable fire pumps and pumps intended for installation in vehicles. The next section deals with the selection of benchmarks, description and subsequent comparison. The fourth part presents a formulation and justification of the development trends of fire pumps. The final part contains an evaluation of the survey of contentment of the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic.
