Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a copyright work, designing and realisation of an art casting draft of two women representing psychical aspect indecision made of bronze. Inspiration roots from the society and contemporary art. Thesis consists of two parts, first theoretical and second practical. Theoretical part of the thesis describes ideas. Main sources contained are sociology and contemporary art. Within the arts it consists specification of sculpting with figural formation included. Practical part describes a manufacturing process of the draft. It begins with ideas of designing, continues with making model and mould, ends with casting from material bronze. The most appropriate for this piece of art was a lost wax casting technology. This method focuses on using plaster mould and wax model.
