Synapse Dufka, Tomáš: The use of fire safety equipment in Rolling Stock, Bachelor the-sis. Ostrava, 2017. VŠB – TU Ostrava, Faculty of safety engineering, Department of Fire safety, 59 s. This thesis deals with the use of fire safety equipment in the rolling stock. The paper provides an overview of the normative documents and requirements arising from them for the design and use in rail vehicles. The thesis also made a description of the fire safety equipment. In conclusion is described the impact of these devices on the spread of fire and health of passengers. The aim is a comprehensive summary of the elements of fire safety and other possibilities for their use.
