Abstract

This thesis deals with the testing data in the IEEE 802.11ac standard, or the new standard. The analysis focuses on the propagation of radio waves in the 5GHz band. The task is to measure the rate at which data is transferred and how it behaves this protocol when transferring between one or more obstacles and their impact on the latency of the available tools. In the second half of the practical tests are examined data rate, latency, and problems with signal propagation. Also here will be compared images of different measurements in practice with its theoretical assumptions listed on the Internet. From this work I expect that will replace the current standard, which is most often used in practice and it is a standard IEEE 802.11n. My goal is to achieve the highest transmission speed with the smallest possible latency.
