Zvýšení efektivity procesů výroby dílů v automotive s využitím principů štíhlé výroby

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on increasing the efficiency of a selected production and assembly process in the automotive industry using the principles of lean manufacturing. The aim of the thesis is to identify weak points in the process and propose measures leading to the reduction of non-value-added activities and ensuring a smooth production flow. Within the thesis, both the production and assembly processes were analyzed. The MOST method was used to evaluate the time requirements of individual operations in the production process, enabling the identification of time losses and inefficient activities. In the assembly process, the focus was mainly on the method of supplying the workstation. It was found that the operator is repeatedly required to leave the workstation due to insufficient material supply, which leads to interruptions in the production process and the occurrence of non-value-added activities. Based on the performed calculations, it was demonstrated that these activities result in a reduction of production by approximately 6 pieces per shift and also represent an additional physical burden for the operator. The thesis further proposes measures aimed at improving workstation supply, eliminating unnecessary movements, and ensuring a continuous production flow.
