Thesis supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Jaroslav Solař, Ph.D. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to develop project documentation for the construction of a guesthouse in Ostrava at the stage of detailed design, in accordance with Decree No. 499/2006 Coll. The thesis is based on a study prepared within the courses Project I and Project II and is divided into a textual and a drawing part. The subject of the project is a new detached guesthouse building with two above-ground floors, located in the Krásné Pole district on the outskirts of Ostrava. The building is designed as a facility providing accommodation, catering and relaxation services, complemented by spaces for small social and educational events. The layout of the building is designed as a three-aisle structure with a courtyard tract, with a clear separation between public areas and staff facilities. The thesis also includes a thermal technical assessment of selected structures and a structural analysis of a beam.
