Abstract

The thesis focuses on the analysis of particular public procurements, detection of mistakes and suggestions of possible solutions for the future.

The first chapter is devoted to an introduction on public procurement in the construction industry. Second charter focuses on theoretical bases concerning the theme.

The third chapter contains a specific award of a public procurement. The fourth chapter outlines the progress of this public procurement contract. The final section describes the proposals and recommendations for improving legislation, in relation to the explained case.

Thesis is up to date, not only because of the increasing media coverage of this topic, but there is currently a frequent amendment of the law on public procurement. The level of European Union law in a given direction is completely different level than in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis was to propose how to deal with problems in the procurement procedure and What should change in the future.
