Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of hollow shaft production technology using rotary swaging. In the theoretical part are analyzed the forming technology, which are used in the automotive industry. In the experimental part is proposed the technology of rotating swaging, the whole process is then analyzed in detail. The results obtained are compared with the real process. 3D real-life forgings and simulation models are compared using 3D scanning. The forged part is also subjected to an analysis of the mechanical and structural properties, as well as a check for the occurrence of defects in forging.
