Implementace nového informačního systému v Mostecké nemocnici

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of information technology in health care of Czech Republic, specifically in the Hospital Most. This is a very broad topic, the goal of this work is to explain at least part of the issue. Information systems in health care are primarily used for documenting patients during treatment and subsequent sending of data to the health insurance companies that are payer of health care in Czech Republic. This thesis deals with the description of hospital information system in the Hospital Most and the way the system was recently launched in the hospital and is currently operated. It focuses also on other support systems needed to provide quality medical care and evaluates, what positive or negative new information system brought for the hospital. In conclusion it suggests possible solutions that could help to improve the whole system.
