Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of granite production from a legislative, technical and economic point of view. The main objective of the thesis was the evaluation of findings in the field of granite production based on the data from a real quarry and the proposal of possible recommendations for the future. In the theoretical part, granite characteristics and the quarrying process were described. Internal documents and data of the company SATES ČECHY s.r.o. were used in the practical part to carry out an analysis of the technical and economic part of mining. Possible recommendations were suggested based on the findings.
