Abstract

This work goes into the heating of the graphite, the iron oxide and the low-temperature reduction of the iron oxides, whereas is devided into the theoretical and the practical parts. The theoretical part goes into the history of the microwave radiation, the microwave effects and the effect of microwave radiation on the human’s organism. In the experimental part there were examinable heating of materials and reduction of the iron oxides. In this part was found out that during the heating of the graphite and Fe3O4 is possible to get very high temperature (over 1200°C). It was also found out that with adding the graphite to Fe2O3 and consequential heating there is reduction of Fe2O3 on Fe3O4. In that case we are talking about technology which is applicable to the use.
