Abstract

This thesis deals with the study of continuous biosorption sulphates in a packed column with chemically activated biosorbents, and orange peel. The chemical activation was used activating agent NaOH. The theoretical part includes a description of the process, advantages and disadvantages, which characterizes the biosorbents, the issue of sulphates in the environment and modeling processes for final assessment. Tha practical part describes the whole preparation process and methodology for. Subsequently are presented results, discussion on the issues and end of the study.
