Abstract
The goal of the bachelor thesis was to evaluate and analyze the current state of individual processes, which were selected for assessment. A related goal was to identify through a questionnaire survey and a structured interview with a humanist, the shortcomings of recruitment, selection and adaptation in a selected organization, and to suggest recommendations that could lead to the improvement of these processes.
The thesis is divided into two main chapters, theoretical and practical. Content of theoretical part is the theoretical basis for the recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees. This chapter also contains the methods that are used in these processes.
The practical part is already dedicated to the organization itself. Husqvarna Manufacturing CZ Ltd. is described here. There are basic information about the company, history, organizational structure, employee structure and some other information. The following is a description of selected processes in the company and their current status. This information was obtained through an interview with a company's humanist. This part follows the evaluation of the questionnaire survey, where some shortcomings were identified in the selected processes. The questionnaire survey was conducted in the company and were used the responses from employees who worked for the company for less than 3 years (including). To eliminate the shortcomings identified were suggested some recommendations that would help to improve these processes. In particular, it was recommended to make more use of social networks, make more use of the methods of the assessment centre, use telephone verification of applicants' communication capabilities, and also employee guarantors were suggested.
The results can be used by the company to improve these processes and to secure better standardization of these processes.
