Ekonomické zhodnocení vybrané společnosti

Abstract

The object of the bachelor thesis is an „Economic Assessment of a Specific Company” which is the CSOB Insurance Company, PLC. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first part is focused on the specifications of the insurance market, the legislative conditions valid for the insurance business and the comparison of the insurance companies´ market shares. Secondly it is followed by the history insurance and history of the company, characteristic of the chosen company, organizational structure and products. The next part includes the evaluation and comparison of the results of the company where there the sources are the annual reports from 2009 until 2012. The fifth part will focus on products comparison with other insurance companies. In conclusion, will be the evaluation how the chosen insurance company develops, especially in comparison to the other insurance companies in the market and its profits. It will propose recommendations coming from to the identified shortcomings, especially with the view of the competitors.
