Abstract
One of the most important parts of every structure is the foundation. This work deals with the interaction of foundation structures with the above-ground structure and their interaction with the subsoil. In this work, the analyzed above-ground structure is a planar frame. In the first phase of the calculation, the frame is loaded by the force load, from which the actions on the foundation are obtained. The model for examining the interaction of the foundation with the subsoil is loaded by reactions from the frame. The values of the displacement of supports are obtained from this calculation, which serves as the deformation load on the frame. Uneven settlement of the supports then influences the tension in the frame. This work also deals with the comparison of the suitability of base strips and base feet. The analysis of the flat frame and the foundations on the Winkler subsoil model takes place in the Matlab program. The general deformation method is used for all calculations.
