Analýza disparit regionů soudržnosti NUTS 2 v České republice

Abstract

The Diploma thesis focuses on the issue of regional disparities in NUTS 2 regions in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is the evaluation and comparison of regional disparities in NUTS 2 regions in the Czech Republic for the reference period of 2005 to 2015 using selected indicators of EU cohesion policy based on the calculation of the modified Euclidean distance. The purpose of the thesis is also to highlight the non-comparability between different regions within their inclusion in units NUTS 2. In the diploma thesis, the hypothesis was determined if the amount of EU structural assistance affects the development of the regions.
