Abstract

Subject of this thesis is design of microcontreller control module for switching power devices. The main feature of this module is ability to detect very low power consumption and provide feedback about operation of the power device. The module also allow switching based on feedback from the measurement or external input. Due to different voltage and current levels on the power device and the microcontroller, it was necessary to design this parts as galvanically isolated. This thesis analyzed several options for implementation of measuring and switching circuits and describe one of possible solutions.
