Význam euroregionů v České republice

Abstract

Přeshraniční spolupráce a s ní spojené euroregiony jsou velmi důležité pro odstraňování nerovností v příhraničních oblastech. Největší význam euroregionů v České republice byl před vstupem České republiky do Evropské unie, kdy byly rozdíly na obou stranách hranice nejvíce znatelné, ale i v současné době jsou euroregiony velmi důležité a to především v oblasti navazování nových kontaktů, výměny zkušeností a také čerpání finančních prostředků z Evropské unie. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zjistit význam euroregionů v České republice. Tento význam je prokázán dosaženými výsledky čtyř vybraných euroregionů – Šumava, Praděd, Beskydy, Nisa, které sousedí se Slovenskem, Polskem, Rakouskem nebo Německem. Vývoj ve vybraných oblastech a výsledky euroregionů jsou popsány pomocí tabulek a grafů, které jsou náležitě okomentovány. V závěru práce jsou také uvedeny příklady již schválených i realizovaných projektů v rámci výše zmíněných euroregionů.

The cross-border co-operation and the euroregions that are connected with it are very important for elimination of the differences in the frontier regions. The biggest signification of the euroregions in the Czech Republic was before the Czech Republic became a member of the European Union, where there were very remarkable differences on both sides of the frontier pass, however, also at present the euroregions are very important especially in the field of establishing new contacts, exchanging of their experiences and also drawing of the financial resources coming from the European Union. The main goal of my dissertation is to find out the signification of the euroregions in the Czech Republic. This signification was proven by the records of the four chosen euroregions – Šumava, Praděd, Beskydy, Nisa that borders on Slovakia, Poland, Austria or Germany. The development in the chosen fields and the results of the euroregions are described with the help of tables and graphs with the appropriate comments. The examples of the already approved and realized projects within the framework of the above mentioned euroregions are mentioned in conclusion of my dissertation.
