Modelování extrémních odtokových situací v povodí Opavy s podporou GIS

Abstract

The main theme of my diploma thesis is the modeling of extreme runoff events in the Opava basin with the support of GIS. The first part describes environmental components of the land of interest , hydrological balance in the Opava basin, rainfallrunoff process and description of software used. In the second part of the thesis there is description of the methodology and schematisation catchment, rainfall-runoff modeling in HEC-HMS and MIKE SHE. Modeling results are then visualized using GIS and properly commented. The final part assesses the adequacy of the program means for analyzing hydrological conditions and extreme runoff events.
