Abstract

In this diploma thesis it is discussed the consumer behaviour on the discount sites market. The discount sites are relatively new distribution channel. It serves as a marketplace for the companies and it means cheaper form of shopping for consumers. The method of electronic questioning was chosen for the marketing research, because it was necessary to reach the respondents in the age group from 18 to 40 years old using the Internet. Thanks to the results that have been found out, the consumer behaviour in this market was evaluated and the recommendations was suggested, which should help to keep existing consumers and attract new ones.
