Abstract
The thesis is focused on the optimization of heat treatment of a 13Cr6Ni2.5MoTi supermartensitic steel. In the theoretical part, the classification, properties and heat treatment of supermartensitic steels are discussed. Based on results of laboratory simulation, a regime of the quality heat treatment consisting of normalizing and two - step intercritical annealing has been proposed. This regime of the quality heat treatment has been successfully applied in industrial conditions. Structural changes taking place during intercritical annealing and their effects on properties of the steel investigated are discussed.
