Ochrana vodních zdrojů a její význam pro bezpečnost zastavěných území

Abstract

The bachelor thesis describes the character and individual types of water resources which are used for the supply of fire-extinguishing water and potable water. In the introductory part the importance of water, its use and trends that influence the water consumption in the Czech Republic are described. The introductory part is followed by the description and characterization of the actual state of water resources protection and the assessment of anthropogenic and natural risks including suggested steps for eliminating the risks. The final chapter deals with individual areas and their crisis precautions and emergency food-supply.
