Abstract
The main topic of the extended essay is the proposal of process of quarry mechanization selection and the way of its financing. Multicriteria decision is the chosen method of the selection. In the individual chapters the work describes suitable ways of
financing, theoretical base for decisions with the help of multicriteria evaluation of the
variants and it demonstrates the proposed process on a concrete example of a wheel feeder
according to the criteria stated by a mining company.
