Abstract

The goal of thesis was to design a new low energy block of flats, which would be use an alternative source of energy to be more environmentally friendly. The designed low energy block of flats has a three floors, partial basement and the plan itself has a shape of a rectangle with one layer of a vegetated flat roof. The outcome of my work is project documentation for the construction of the building. In the project documentation is also included an technical evaluation of thermal performace of building envelope and the energy label of the building envelope.
