Abstract

The subject of the diploma thesis is the financial benchmarking of selected financial indicators and the bankruptcy model of the Index IN05 of the company MSV Metal Studénka, a.s. A suitable competitor for comparing the results of the financial benchmark became the company Kovárna VIVA a.s. Both companies are among the leading suppliers of steel die forgings. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical and practical part. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to process and evaluate the results of financial benchmarking and subsequently to propose measures to increase the competitiveness of the company MSV Metal Studénka, a.s.
