Ekonómia blahobytu: aplikácia na vybrané krajiny

Abstract

The goal of the submitted thesis „Economics of well-being in the Czech Republic and Slovakia“ is to define the term of well-being in economics, to compare its development in the Czech Republic and Slovakia according to long and short term and to analyze macroeconomic variables which could influence well-being. Well-being is investigated and compared within countries of European Union. Last part attends to the analysis of relationship between subjective well-being and objective macroeconomics variables such as GDP per capita, rate of unemployment and average annual wages.
