Abstract
The content of this bachelor thesis is to analyse traffic safety at the intersection Betonářská x Hladnovská x Ciorova in Ostrava and to assess the suitability of the current implementation. This bachelor thesis contains the analysis of the construction-technical state of the intersection, traffic accidents, conflict situations, identification and evaluation of the intensities of this intersection using traffic survey, capacity calculation of the current state and also prospective intensities for 2041. In relation to this information, a drawing part for two variant solutions with situational models has been prepared using PTV VISSIM and AutoCAD with add-ons. Thanks to these programs, we can verify that our solution is correct and complies with the safety and continuity requirements of the traffic. The aim of this work is to propose a solution that would allow sufficient continuity and safety of traffic at the observed intersection.
