Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on comparison of marketing strategies of two tennis clubs in Moravian-Silesian region. The first club is SK Vítkovice 1926 - Ridera z.s and the second is SK JC Sport Opava. This theme was chosen because the sport is very famous and and nowadays there is a huge interest in it. The purpose of this thesis is comparison of marketing strategies, comparison of provided services, areal equipment and provided training units. The theoretical part is focused on demarcation of basic concepts, the practical part then to analysis of both examined clubs and consecutive comparison with assistance of graphical apparatus. To obtain the data we used this particular methods: interviews with managers, questionnaires and SWOT analysis The results of the thesis shows lack especially in zone of racing tennis and the area equipment. On the other hand it shows strong sides of the clubs, for example quality offer of the training services, sporting background and material equipment. In the end of the thesis are provided specific proposals for improvement which should the clubs focus on in the future.
