Abstract

The main purpose of this diploma work is physical-model creation of miniature circuit breaker solenoid in special FEM (Fenite element method) based sofware and its statics and dynamics analysis. This FEM processing is purposely selected to show the modern advance in complicated tasks solutions of electromagnetical and thermal fields, mechanics or gas and liquid flow. The effectiveness of FEM is presented in the results of diploma work. The introductory chapter of diploma describes parts of circuit breaker and its distribution. Next pages present equations eduction related to electromagnetic force actuating the armature. Follows a.c solenoid analysis, FEM identification and numerical-model creation of circuit breaker solenoid. Conclusion covers statics and dynamics analysis. All model creation process is supplemented by application pictures, results-charts and general graphs.
