Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the security situation of the town of Kopřivnice in relation to emergency events and the municipality’s response capacity. The study provides a detailed overview of the area, including geographic, demographic, and infrastructural characteristics. Using a certified risk assessment methodology, the thesis analyses the municipality in terms of hazard, vulnerability, and preparedness. The outcome is the identification of key risks and the proposal of specific measures to enhance the town’s resilience and safety. Emphasis is placed on the practical use of results in crisis planning and territorial administration.
