The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the initiation delay time - what effect does the initiation delay have on the initial dust saving. The work is designed for two parts. The first theoretical part contains basic information about the explosion, other parameters that can be met, can be used for the explosion and the factors that affect the dust explosion. In the second part, it is possible to find out what are the prepared steps for measuring the minimum initiation energy. User description of the device and two measuring procedures. This includes the results of measurements using both measurement procedures. Based on the experimental results, it is possible to evaluate the effect of the delay time on the minimum initiation energy of the dust.
