Abstract

The submitted thesis deals with a proposal on how to proceed with the extension of the extraction of glass and foundry sands in the sand deposit of Střeleč. The thesis includes data describing the sand deposit of Střeleč as well as an assessment of the reason for extending the extraction. The work covers an evaluation of possibly gained supplies of glass and foundry sands, the quantity of overburden materials necessary for clearance and economic appraisal. The works is aimed at describing the procedures that are dealt with before the actual mining permit and highlighting issues related to them.
