Abstract
The aim of this work is the design and practical realization of lighting system for demonstration electric vehicle Democar. In the first part of the overall design of a structure defining a lighting system with individual light sources and their required functions. This section is designed to complete the control unit, which precedes prototyping for the development and testing of software lighting control applications. There are analyzed used ICs, their meaning and practical application. The next chapter describes the development kit, realization of the prototype a complex unit LCU. In the practical part, among others, addressed the development of a software application capable of managing and checking the components of lighting system. This section provides a brief description of the operating system that simplifies working with microcontroller PPC5643L. Diploma thesis is also dedicated to testing and analysis of the developed control system. The last part is the final implementation of lighting system to the vehicle structure Democar. An important result of this work is practically implemented the control unit, able to manage and diagnose lighting system.
